Frequently Asked Questions
Does Scoop Method clean the entire yard?
Yes! Scoop Method will clean any areas of your property that have dog waste issues, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, and more.
Do you provide dog waste removal services all year round?
Yes! We scoop through rain, snow, and sunshine. If extreme weather conditions make it unsafe for our technicians or prevent us from seeing the waste, we will notify you and reschedule as soon as possible.
How do you ensure the safety of my dogs?
Safety is our top priority. At Scoop Method, we:
Perform background checks on all employees.
Take gate pictures after every cleanup to confirm your yard is secure.
Use kennel-grade disinfectant on our equipment between every yard to prevent the spread of parasites or diseases.
Hire skilled technicians who genuinely enjoy being around dogs.
How much does it cost to hire Scoop Method?
Our service plans start as low as $60 per month, not including the initial deep clean fee which averages $150 (we’re currently waiving this fee for new customers).
However, pricing is determined by the size of your yard, the frequency of service, and the number of dogs.
Most clients typically pay between $95 and $135 per month.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No! At Scoop Method, we believe in earning your business every visit.
There are no long-term contracts; you can start, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your customer portal, text, email, or by calling our office.
How do you dispose of the pet waste?
Proper disposal is essential for environmental safety. Depending on your service plan and location, we either double-bag the waste and place it in your designated trash bin or, for certain subscription tiers, we remove the waste from your property entirely.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not at all. As long as our technicians have easy access to your backyard, you don’t need to be home.
Do you clean with dogs in the yard?
Yes, we love cleaning while dogs are out! However, if you have a dog that is aggressive or overly protective of the yard, we ask that you keep them inside during your scheduled service time for the safety of our team.
Can I request a specific cleanup day?
Yes. While specific availability depends on your route and location, we generally offer 2–3 options to best fit your schedule.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely. Scoop Method is fully licensed and insured, protecting you and your property during every visit.
What service frequencies does Scoop Method offer?
We offer a variety of schedules to keep your yard clean, including:
2x Weekly
Weekly
Bi-Weekly
Monthly
One-Time Cleanups
How does billing work?
Scoop Method operates on a monthly subscription model. Billing is processed automatically at the start of each month, ensuring your service is never interrupted.
Is there an extra charge for the first cleanup?
Because there is usually an accumulation of waste before the first professional cleaning, there is often a one-time “Deep Clean” fee. After the yard is brought up to maintenance standards, you will move to your regular flat monthly rate.
Our first visit you will be charged both the Deep Clean fee and the standard visit fee based on. your service level, unless we are having a promotion or you use a special discount code.
